.vsi file doesn't install

Mar 11, 2010 at 3:49 AM

I noticed there hasn't been any discussion on this site in a while. Hopefully, someone is still out there...

So I downloaded ECSK.vsi, and when I click to download it, I get this:

One or more content items contained within the .vscontent file cannot be installed because the correct verion of the content installer component cannot be found.

Contact the author of the content file for information about which installers and versions are required.

The .vsi or.vscontent file does not contain any installable content, or the file contains errors.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Are you using Visual Studio 2005?  If so you will need to use the zip file with the contents. http://extendedclubsite.codeplex.com/releases/view/19107

Unfortunately the vsi was built with Visual Studio 2008 and that is the requirement you are probably seeing.

Hope that helps,
